The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within the city.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of heroes who will split off from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Explorers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might seem unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 show why these five characters are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the group understands precisely where to proceed after a brutal initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his personal gain, entering the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then paid off his debts and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their status as prominent individuals in the influential clan could enable the party access areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that govern the setting for a range of causes, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to head to Timmony in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From the recent installment’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Planners parties.

Audiences can anticipate learning which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
